Duxford’s Mitsubishi dealership is celebrating after a survey conducted by Auto Express magazine revealed it to be in the top five per cent of car dealers in the UK.
Duxford Motor Group on Newmarket Road scored a rating of 8.2 out of 10 to be included in the leading automotive magazine’s top 1,000 list of car dealers.
Compiled in conjunction with Driver Power and data analyst Statista, and based on the results of polled customers and peer-to-peer recommendations, the survey saw more than 20,000 new and used car dealers scored on quality of advice, price and overall satisfaction.
The ranking follows Duxford Motor Group’s success in Mitsubishi Motors in the UK’s own Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Since opening its Mitsubishi franchise in 2011, it has achieved a maximum five-star rating from the manufacturer.
Commenting on the survey, Steve Fowler, Editor-in-Chief of Auto Express, said: "Finding a good, trustworthy dealer can be a big problem for car owners. So this survey provides them with a clear idea of local garages that will provide a high level of service at a decent price."
Steve Bentinck, Managing Director at Duxford Motor Group, said: “From a single service station in 1958, we now have a turnover of £8 million, but while our group has grown massively we have always concentrated on good, old-fashioned customer service.
“It was a very welcome surprise to be listed and we’re delighted that our efforts have been officially recognised. Our ranking backs up what we see, with lots of repeat business and many older customers now bringing in their children to buy vehicles.”
Lance Bradley, Managing Director, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “I would like to congratulate Duxford Motor Group on making Auto Express’s top 1,000 car dealerships. Considering the sheer volume of car dealerships in the country, to be included in the list
is a fantastic achievement and they can feel proud that the service they provide is recognised to be amongst the best around.”
